I came to this book through Lynda herself — I've had the privilege of working with her and she's generously shared some of her Andronika products with me. I'll be upfront: I'm not a big makeup person, but skincare matters to me, and her formulations genuinely impressed me. So when she released this book, I wanted to understand the why behind what she creates.This is not a how-to guide or a product catalog. It's closer to a philosophy — an invitation to stop treating your skincare routine as a chore and start experiencing it as something intentional. Lynda draws on her background as an end-of-life doula and ceremonial skincare formulator to reframe the simple act of caring for your skin as a moment of genuine presence with yourself.What struck me most is how the book gave new depth to the products I'd already been using. Knowing the ancestral inspiration, the botanical reasoning, and the ritual intention behind each formulation made me reach for them differently. I have used a few Andronika products and have loved them all. After reading this book, I realize how purposeful each product’s creation is and the intention behind them. It is so much more than just skincare. I can’t wait to try more products and be intentional about their application.

This beautiful book is an invitation to view skin care in a whole new way. I love the idea that taking care of my skin is a sacred practice that goes so much deeper than just the surface of our skin, but an awakening of our soul. A reminder to nurture and care for ourselves and our skin in a gentle mindful way. This book and all the lovely Andronika products are mindfully crafted with very intentional high quality ingredients that radiate with love and intention. The writings and the illustrations in this book are soft, gentle, honest and heartfelt. A perfect accompaniment on how to use the products.

I’ve been using Lynda’s skincare line for quite some time now and much like the quality of her Andronkia products — her book is sensational! It is so beautiful and complete with rituals and a deep understanding of the lineage, how and why Andronika goes beyond skincare, and ways to live in connection with Mother Earth. I absolutely love Lynda, Andronika products and now this sweet new book that takes you through a ceremony all on its own. The book is filled with beautiful illustrations, prayer and intention practices for her incredible skincare line that is imbued with earth elements , love and care.
